Valley Musical Theatre presents: THE MUSIC MAN

Oh, we got trouble. Right here in River City (aka Ellensburg) as  Valley Musical Theatre proudly presents its 2019 Mainstage Summer Musical, Meredith Willson’s THE MUSIC MAN.

~When Professor Harold Hill, a traveling con man, arrives in River City, he convinces the locals to start a band by purchasing the uniforms and instruments from him. His intention is to flee as soon as he receives the money. Librarian Marian Paroo suspects Harold is a fraud, but holds her tongue since her young brother, Winthrop, is excited about the band. As Harold begins to develop feelings for Marian, he faces a difficult decision about skipping town.~

An amazing cast of community members portray the citizens of River City, Iowa, in this All-American musical favorite. They bring to life the traditions, conflicts, pride, and love experienced in a small, mid-west township.
