Dachshunds On Parade

CALLING ALL DACHSHUNDS to the Dachshunds On Parade event Saturday, June 18^th in Downtown Ellensburg.

Ellensburg is famous for our world class rodeo but did you know we are also famous for Dachshunds On Parade?  Only in Ellensburg, this event was originally created by a local family as a simple school project and has expanded into one of the largest attended events in Downtown Ellensburg. The McKean family worked hard year after year to create this unique event for our furry friends to play, dress up, race, entertain and be spoiled by dog lovers alike. The McKean’s graciously passed the baton to the Ellensburg Downtown Association in 2018 and the rest is dog-gone history.

The EDA and their dedicated volunteers make this event “paws”ible for attendees to look forward to year after year.

• 8am- Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast in Downtown Ellensburg
• 10-1pm Parade, Races, Pet Tricks, vendors and more!
• 1-4pm Cornerstone Pie After Party 307 E 5th Ave, Ellensburg
