CWU Girls in Aviation Day
The Central Washington University Chapter of Women in Aviation International is hosting a free one-day program for local girls ages 8 to 17 years to inspire the next generation of women in aviation. Girls in Aviation Day will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Central Washington University in Sue Lombard Hall.
Celebrated worldwide, Girls in Aviation Day is now in its fourth year as a global event, and is designed to introduce and educate girls on the career choices and lifestyle possibilities offered by the aviation and aerospace industry.
Advance registration is recommended as participation is limited to the first 100 girls who sign up. Each family can have one chaperone that is a parent or family member.
