Blood Donation Drive for Childhood Cancer Treatments. The American Red Cross, along with our partner Sport Clips Haircuts – a proud supporter of childhood cancer research – is urging eligible donors to give blood during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month this September. In thanks, those who come to give blood Sept. 1-30 will receive a coupon for a free Sport Clips haircut via email.

Thousands of children and adolescents in the U.S. are diagnosed with cancer each year, and many will need blood products regularly during treatment. Below is a news release with more details about the partnership and how blood donors help kids kick cancer.
